Sometimes it works that way. Games are tough, time intensive, and rarely monetarily rewarding.

One thing I will comment on is that you have seemed more interested in systems and mechanics than the plot or storytelling part. If that is true, maybe building a mod would be a useful middle ground, allowing you to explore programming and mechanics but on a built, stable base.

Bought the big version for the soundtrack. Thanks!

Definitely column highlighting would be really important if there will be objects on the field that change pathing. Not knowing if I’m going to hit or miss with a locker is very frustrating.

Also, better indicators for being released would be appreciated in LL2.

Best part is the column highlight.

It looks like Stronghold because it is built to be Stronghold, but is as the intro paragraphs says ‘an open source fan remake’ with an Apache License.

That means it is made publicly, anyone can see the code and no-one can hide it. Also, no one can make money off it.

It’s open source and built from the ground up, so it isn’t encumbered.

Check the Patreon. It’s slow but not abandoned.

If it’s only three hours, that’s not as much of a problem, I got concerned when I came back after a day and there were several transformation events and shutdown events queued.

Could there be a reaction between the auto-leveler and the offline progress?

It’s really frustrating to come back after a few days and see the ‘progress’ of having several variants shut down and my person go in an unintended direction.

Please allow pausing the game — helps with away from keyboard! — or at the least, a toggle to disable offline development.

Maps would be amazing, especially since beds don’t work for me and I respawn in random areas of the world.

I just make a huge line of sorting and lots and lots of stone production. When your queue is full, towers will fill instantly.

That’s a Unity can’t talk to your graphics driver issue. Try searching for your video card and Unity black screen.

I strongly dislike Steam as a platform, but yeah, as a creator, sell where you gotta.

Also, I love how the headline looks, it seems to say that you will be lonely going to Steam.

Good for you, but do you get a lot of Steam people on ITCH? I would think there would be competition.

If you haven’t figured it out yet, there’s a wardrobe option for underwear.

If you do it in global, in game, otherwise as a note here should be sufficient.

Bug Report!

Playing version 1.66 on macOS 13.0, no mods.

On a new game, playing pretty aggressively, game refused inputs (escape for menu failed, could not click stores, but right-click for history worked) when entering the shopping center after first pet play with Brenda and buying the cat tail, but before buying the cat ears.

I was not able to reproduce from autosave.

Assume there was some event logic that I missed loading the stores.

That is… surprisingly fewer caveats than I had expected.

Warm fuzzies for everyone, and thank you!

That is uncomfortably realistic.

IRL stuff first, no shame.

Same for me, even on patch 1.22. Ended up quitting.

If that’s what you need to recharge, 100% in favor of!

How valuable is the previous save import with all of the improvements you’ve made?

That should help crossplay a lot. VNN does not like macOS or Linux.

Having just re-done this part, I might be able to give some guidance:

  • Are you spending time with Viki?
  • Have you looked in the locker?

You’ll carry lvl 1 1000 for a while until you further the plot. Make money, spend time with friends, and you’ll be prompted to get the red. I think it was for photoshoots, but I don’t remember.

They are focused on the Patreon. If you want more immediate responses, and see new updates look there.

Cool, so Ep 3 will increment this?

Not super in love with downloading and saving across multiple executables. I’d prefer one big download.

That said, I’m totally into the art and concept!

This is a Unity game, what you’re describing is a common video support error with Unity.

The art is good, but she’s such an idiot… I hated her and had to stop playing. So… well written?

Interesting for a jam, but the jumps are super-aggressive. I wasn't able to get past the first screen.

I just saw this as I was going to request a collection. Make it a single game with a single save and I'd personally be happy to pay a bit more ($18?) .

The price isn't actually showing up, and website didn't prompt me when I clicked download.

Huh. Didn't this previously have a ‘buy on Itch.io’ option? I would be willing to put in some non-subscription money.

I will pay lump sum money for a Mac edition. Thank you.

Are you going to release a version that's all of the content together?
